I’m a teacher and the only chance I have to travel to Nepal is during monsoon. I arrived in Nepal at the end of June and left at the end of August, right in the middle of the monsoon. I had an amazing time in this complicated season. thanks to Himalayan Friends. The owners of the company treated me like member of their family. My guides and porters are extraordinary people from the Everest region. I went on two different treks, the first trip was on a group and the second I did it by myself. Both were unique experiences. As a solo traveler I really appreciate that my guide and porter were respectful and kind to me. However, the most important thing for me was that I felt very welcome and cared for by the community. It was a really beautiful experience to get the chance to get to know the Tibetan and Sherpa culture a little better and I am so grateful that they let me into their lives. I highly recommend Himalayan Friends and look forward to continuing to travel to Nepal and trek with them.

Well being brutally honest. When you're travelling new destination, its crucial to have witty, amicable, dependable guides. And when you get these himalayan friends guides and travel experts( rinzi jangbu sherpa and his brother ang kaila sherpa), you will have eternal fun, knowledge and bonding throughout the journey. They are super professional to customize the travel itinerary and have close connections with the hotels and other people too. Nothing short of fantastic! Phuri and his family and crew are professional and above all else caring. Our main goal was Everest Base Camp, and plans were flexible as we attempted to complete the Three Passes until exhaustion got the better of us. Passang Sherpa (guide) was exceptional as it was plain to see that we had one of the best guides in Nepal. Passang was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing his culture with us, and always made sure we were well-fed, safe, feeling good and taking the most out of a truly amazing experience. Review for 15 days Everest Base Camp Trek
First class treatment, organisation, and service throughout from Phuri and his team. Everybody involved was friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much. Did the Poon Hill trail (4 day) out of Pokhara with children (8 & 11 years) and despite my initial concerns about motivating the kids (the younger in particular has a history of sit-down protests in the hills!) I needn't have worried. Phuri was excellent with the children and knew exactly when to step in when things started to challenge them and they needed motivation. Not only did they complete the trail without hardly a grumble, they absolutely enjoyed it as well. Incredible family experience for all of us, and many memories made. I couldn't recommend this route enough if you want to introduce kids to the beauty of the mountains and the lessons of challenge and reward. And Phuri and his team are definitely the mentors to have by your side. Everything perfectly organised. We went to upper Mustang, which required several flights and jeep rides. Our guide , Dende, made always sure that everything was perfect. The company' s owner , Phuri, regularly contacted Dende to make sure everything was perfect. I asked for 5 star trip, this is what we got! It was amazingly beautiful and confortable ! Strongly recommended, thanks again 😊!!
